Principal Mrs. Tammy Castiglione
As a native of Monroe, Mrs. Castiglione was baptized, confirmed, and married in her home congregation of Grace Lutheran Church.
She is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Special Education and a minor in Child Development. She holds a Master of Arts Degree in the area of Learning Disabilities and has taken additional courses in Educational Leadership.
Mrs. Castiglione was employed with the Monroe County ISD for nearly 27 years. She then worked over 3 years as a Resource Room Teacher with Monroe Public Schools serving at both Manor School (grades Kindergarten through Sixth) and the Arborwood Campus. During this time, Mrs. Castiglione was also employed with Lutheran Special Education Ministries.
She and her husband, Anthony, have three daughters. Their oldest daughter is a Lutheran school teacher in Monroe. They have a daughter who is a Social Worker specializing in counseling at a Christian school in Georgia. Their youngest daughter, Abigail, is an individual with special needs; she attends a program through the Monroe ISD and lives at home.
Mrs. Castiglione is equally excited, and honored, to be a part of the wonderful staff and ministry at Holy Ghost Lutheran School.
